NCPG adopted 1-800-MY-RESET as the National Problem Gambling Helpline on 29 Jan 2026. 1-800-522-4700 remains active.
1-800-GAMBLER is CCGNJ, not NCPG. It is operated by the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey (CCGNJ). It is not the NCPG national brand.
State helpline
Michigan statewide problem gambling helpline (MGCB adopted 1-800-GAMBLER; calls from MI route to MDHHS)

This state publishes 1-800-GAMBLER as its helpline. That number is the state council or regulator line on this page, not the NCPG national brand.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board lists 1-800-GAMBLER as the primary statewide line. The MDHHS get-help page still features 1-800-270-7117, which remains in operation. This page shows the MGCB number as the primary display.

Self-exclusion
Michigan self-exclusion is two programs. The Disassociated Persons List covers Detroit commercial casinos. The Responsible Gaming Database covers Michigan-regulated online casino gaming and online sports betting. One enrollment does not cover both.
MGCB Disassociated Persons List (Detroit casinos) and Responsible Gaming Database (internet gaming / sports betting)
Michigan has two separate MGCB self-exclusion programs—enrolling in one does not enroll you in the other. The Disassociated Persons List (DPL) bars a person from Detroit commercial casinos (in-person appointment; removal after five years). The Responsible Gaming Database (RGD) excludes from Michigan-regulated online casino gaming and/or online sports betting for one or five years.
